Many of our courses can be taught onsite, depending on the availability of supporting infrastructure. To discuss your onsite training requirements please contact us.

ERGT Australia’s Training Facilities

ERGT Australia provides a range of industry based training facilities that were designed and developed by management, senior staff, specialist architects, and engineers. Our facilities are accessible within our five specialist training centres:

  • Offshore Survival Training Centre
  • Incident Management Training Centre
  • Safety Skills Training Centre
  • Emergency Management Training Centre
  • Rig Safety Training Centre

Complementing our training centres, are our classroom facilities. Our classrooms are fully equipped with all the apparatus needed to provide trainees with a comfortable and engaging learning environment.

Offshore Survival Training Centre

The opening of our purpose-built Offshore Survival Training Centre in May 2005 has seen ERGT become one of the leaders in OPITO approved Offshore Survival training. Our heated indoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor platforms, TEMPSC abandonment structure, smoke escape facilities, ERGT designed Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) simulator and associated specialised equipment, provide trainees with practical training that is based on industry scenarios.

Canteen Facilities

Catering is provided for all trainees at ERGT in Jandakot. For full day courses, a hot, cooked lunch is provided. For onsite trainees (such as Fast Rescue Boat trainees at the Fremantle Sailing Club) external catering is provided. Trainees on half day courses may not be provided with lunch, depending on the start time of their course.

We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements of our trainees. Please advise our Customer Service Team and/or Catering staff of your needs at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of your training, so that appropriate catering arrangements can be made.

In addition to lunch, hot soup (seasonal), tea, coffee, milo, bread, spreads and biscuits are available in the canteen throughout the day.
