COURSE AIM
This course is designed for new members of an emergency command centre for training in effective management of emergency events.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITE None.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
Through instruction and practical demonstration, investigate the principles of the Emergency Command Team structure by looking at company procedures in relation to emergency response though emergency simulation, and practise roles within a central control/operations room.

COMPETENCY
Trainees will receive a Certificate of Training as an Emergency Command Team Member.

METHOD OF TRAINING
This course is run over 2 or 3 days, in which trainees will attend theory lessons, demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Emergency Command Team structure and undergo practical training sessions in a simulator followed by debriefing sessions.
