COURSE AIM
This course is designed for effective management of emergency related information, to effectively coordinate resources to support asset or facility during an emergency as part of an emergency command team.

PRE-REQUISITES
This course has no prerequisites, as this course is intended for new or current emergency command team members.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
Through instruction and practical demonstration, course delegates will demonstrate an ability to successfully use relevant information for an emergency as part of an emergency command team within a central control/operations room.

COMPETENCY
On successful completion of this course, trainees will receive a Statement of Attainment in PMAOMIR320B Manage Incident Response Information.

METHOD OF TRAINING
This course is run over 3 days, whereby trainees will attend theory lessons, demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the emergency command team structure and be provided with the skills required to process emergency-related information to combat an emergency. This includes scenario-based training sessions, conducted in a simulator and supported by facility emergency command team members. A debriefing follows each simulator session.
