PMAWHS213 Undertake fire control and emergency rescue

TRAINING STANDARD PRE-REQUISITES There are no pre-requisites from the training standard for this course, however, in order to complete this training within ERGT’s course duration, trainees require to have prior skills and knowledge. Please refer to the ERGT Required Prior Skills & Knowledge section below.
ERGT REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE In order for ERGT to deliver the training and assessment in the time frame specified for this course, trainees are required to come to the course having attained the Nationally Recognised Training unit:
MSMWHS216 Operate breathing apparatus OR equivalent
RECOMMENDED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE It is also recommended, but not mandatory, that trainees attend the course with skills and knowledge of;
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT Please read the AS/NZS 1715 Appendix B: Facial Seal of Respirators. Trainees will not be able to meet competency if they do not comply with the requirements of the standard. Please contact ERGT for further clarification if required.
MEDICAL & HEALTH STANDARDS A medical certificate is not required for this course; however a health questionnaire and declaration of fitness will be required at course registration.

SKILLS MAINTENANCE In alignment with industry expectations and to ensure ongoing competence and capability, ERGT recommends skills maintenance be conducted every 2 years.
