LEARNING OUTCOMES The expected learning outcomes for this Nationally Recognised Training unit are:
PMAWHS311 Lead emergency teams - Assess the nature and extent of the emergency
- Effect rescue of personnel at risk
- Confine the spread of emergency TRAINING STANDARD PRE-REQUISITES There are no training standard pre-requisites for this course.
In order for ERGT to deliver this course in the time frame specified, trainees are required to come to the course with a specific range of skills and knowledge. Evidence of these must be verified prior to course commencement:To ensure the safety of all trainees, ERGT requires evidence of the following Nationally Recognised Training in order to undertake this course:
Fire Team Member or equivalent certification
MSMWHS212 Undertake first response to fire incidents
PMAWHS213 Undertake fire control and emergency rescue
MSMWHS216 Operate breathing apparatus or equivalent All certifications must have been attained no more than 4 years prior to date of training.
MEDICAL & HEALTH STANDARDS A medical certificate is not required for this course; however a health questionnaire and declaration of fitness will be required at course registration.
Please contact ERGT for any concerns regarding completion of practical training and assessment requirements and to discuss options for reasonable adjustment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Please read the attached AS/NZ 1715 Appendix B: Facial Seal of Respirators. You will not be able to meet competency if you do not comply with the requirements of the standard.
