ERGT Australia’s (RTO 2534) Respond to Minor Spills (RMS) program develops the understanding and skills in responding to minor workplace spills utilising containment, neutralising and absorbent equipment and materials.
Trained personnel will have the capability to prepare for emergency situations, identify and assess the emergency, safely confine emergencies where possible, use initial response equipment and report workplace emergency response.
There are no training standard pre-requisites for this course.
ERGT REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
There are no prior skills and knowledge required for this course.
MEDICAL & HEALTH STANDARDS
A medical certificate is not required for this course; however a health questionnaire and declaration of fitness will be required at course registration.
Please contact ERGT for any concerns regarding completion of practical training and assessment requirements and to discuss options for reasonable adjustment.
In alignment with industry expectations and to ensure ongoing competence and capability ERGT recommends skills maintenance be conducted every 2 years.
