COURSE AIM:
This course is designed for Asset Managers / Incident Commanders’ to be assessed in their ability to manage emergency incidents.
OBJECTIVE:
The course covers Incident Command Training and allows course trainees to experience a number of simulated exercises on varying scenarios so that assessors are able to assess trainees’ achievement of PMAOHS511A Manage Emergency Incidents.

COMPETENCY:
All trainees will be assessed on performance and understanding and will receive a formal assessment against PMAOHS511A Manage Emergency Incidents. The assessment will determine the course trainees’ preparedness manage offshore incidents. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to those delegates who are successful in meeting the PMAOHS511A assessment standards.
METHOD OF TRAINING:
3 to 4 days for simulator sessions and OIM practice sessions in order for assessment to be conducted on Installation Manager or Incident Commanders’ preparedness to achieve the PMA competency. The number of persons being assessed will also determine the length of the course.
