Respond to Isolated / Remote Structure fire is designed for personnel who, as a normal part of the work responsibilities and duties, act as members of an emergency response team on a nominated onshore facility.
CONTENT:
It is essential that competence be demonstrated throughout the duration of the course:
- Identify signs of structural collapse
- Apply fire fighting techniques
- Select and use appropriate protective clothing
- Select and use of fire fighting equipment
- Implement actions at the incident to avoid the risk of injury.

- PUAFIR202B/03 Combat fires
- PUAFIR202B/04 Observe and report changes in conditions at the fire PUAFIR202B/05 Participate in ancillary operations
- PUAFIR202B/06 Conclude fire fighting operations
DELIVERY METHOD:
8 hours of classroom theory PowerPoint presentations, including audio-visual material, practical desktop activities and discussion. 8 hours of practical components using fire-fighting equipment in a range of structure fire simulated scenarios.
