Existing industry employees
With over 15 years experience in safety and incident response training, ERGT Australia is the only dedicated safety training specialist for the Australian oil & gas industry.
ERGT Australia recognises that continued growth in the industry requires an innovative approach to safety training, particularly for existing industry employees.
Courses that are relevant to new entrants are listed under Applied Safety, Incident Response and Incident Management.
Course Design
Core Safety Skills (including the Common Safety Training Program) The Core Safety stream contains a range of programs delivering the base skills common to many industries and workplaces. These courses provide the base building blocks for future specialised skills training. Core Safety Skills are also aimed at former oil & gas professionals who have been out of the industry for four or more years.
Applied Safety Skills The Applied Safety courses are designed for people who need specialist safety skills, or need to refresh their existing skills and knowledge.
Incident Response (Emergency Response) The Incident Response programs focus on the skills and knowledge required for an initial response to a critical incident.
Incident Management Incident Management programs focus on the tasks and functional responses required to competently deal with critical incidents in the workplace. Incident Management programs train individuals and organisations to manage a critical incident or crisis as well as to develop the processes needed to protect an organisation's people, environment, assets and reputation.
